Tonight was a freakin great night overall.  Work was actually really great, Paul was closing.  Hes like my most favorite manager ever, we're pretty much like BFF.  I love that guy.

After work I came back and picked up Jeanette and went over to meet Car and Linds at Don's.  A bunch of old friends showed up and it was a lot of fun.

So I met my Concepts class at Concord Mills today infront of Starbucks.   I think I mentioned this project in another entry... but anyway....the first thing Francis (my professor) told me to do (she was giving me ideas) was to put up my hood and throw something. I slept good as hell last night and woke up nice and rested.  Ate a good breakfast then headed downtown to meet for Concepts like last time.  It was pretty gloomy and burr ass chilly outside but it was kind of a good day to walk around the city.   We went to the Mint Museum of Craft and Design and checked out some insaaannneelly awesome artwork on ( Read more... )

Basically the assignment was to pick a profound word (3 to 5 letters) and portray it with different perspectives, and we actually had the freedom to use whatever medium we wanted with this one, so that was exciting.

Originally I was gonna go with the word "whore" and incorporate your mom's face in there somewhere but ended up changing my mind....

Spent the day on the lake today and it was beautiful.  A little too cold to get in the water, although Tyler decided he was going to anyway.... So granpa's tumor is inoperable and he'll probably only live for 6 more months at the latest.  Thats really depressing.  I was gonna go up to visit with my dad but he said no, and that I should go to the beach like I planned.  So I did, and I had fun...at first I felt heartless but then I thought about how my granpa is old, he's lived a wonderful ( Read more... )

I just found out that my dad's dad is in the hospital and there's a possibility he might not make it through the night.  When he woke up his face was really swollen and he was having a lot of trouble breathing, and was feeling severe shoulder pain so he went to the hospital, which is when they found out he has a massive tumor wrapped around his ( Read more... )
