Yup! Wherever it is we go when we shuffle off this mortal coil... well, I'm half way there!!

You see, last week was my 50th birthday. It is what I consider the “undeniable half way point” in my life. Now, I may live to see 100, and I may not. But my family does have a tendency to either

As always you write wonderfully. Am very pleased you e made it this far and only slightly behind me :).

The view is lucious and I envy you a bit for that. I certainly don't envy the roof problems. Makes shoveling 2.5 ' of snow off my roof look like nothing.
Five motorcycle accidents?! Yikes!
Am very sorry that there will be no Wildfire activities this year. Wish I could help in that but this has been the toughest financial year of my life for different reasons.
Am hoping that you will arrive in that after spot smelling of good sex and scotch because I know it's still possible at 80 ( my Uncle Bob and some of my clients assure me of this).

Happy birthday! Life after 50 is pretty awesome, in its own way, and the phrase "the show must go on" is applicable to more than just the entertainment industry!
