Yup! Wherever it is we go when we shuffle off this mortal coil... well, I'm half way there!!
You see, last week was my 50th birthday. It is what I consider the “undeniable half way point” in my life. Now, I may live to see 100, and I may not. But my family does have a tendency to either(
die young and tragically )

The view is lucious and I envy you a bit for that. I certainly don't envy the roof problems. Makes shoveling 2.5 ' of snow off my roof look like nothing.
Five motorcycle accidents?! Yikes!
Am very sorry that there will be no Wildfire activities this year. Wish I could help in that but this has been the toughest financial year of my life for different reasons.
Am hoping that you will arrive in that after spot smelling of good sex and scotch because I know it's still possible at 80 ( my Uncle Bob and some of my clients assure me of this).
Much love to you and the ladies along with the other life forms with whom you share your life.
Hugs too!

Glad that your birthday was seemingly so serene.(Happy Belated Birthday, by the way.) And your outlook on turning 50 makes me think turning 44 in 6 weeks won't be so bad. Thanks!

And I expect breathing a little fire on it will do a number on the handbasket. :)
