The anger causes him to lose focus and the resonation to slip a bit, and so the next two shots aren't the wavelength shots. Two new shots slip out that Rufus didn't even know he could fire.]

[They graze him enough to affect him, and not the Kishin. Suddenly, Reno is moving super fast, and doesn't seem capable of speech. He shoots Rufus a glare that clearly says "you dumbass, you hit me with a Silence and a Haste. What the fuck". Then he falls to the ground, not too keen on moving just yet. Those shots kind of hurt.]

As soon as the thing is dead, Rufus changes back. Ignoring whatever that floating, glowy thing is, and the pain in his still-healing bones, the President quickly limps over to Reno's side and kneels down next to him.]
