Description: After much prodding from America, Prussia decides it is time to sit down and have a long talk with England, since they haven't had a fubin heart-to-heart in a while. England is hesitant.

It was no secret that England had begun pulling away from Prussia again. Their discussions were brief. They would wake up early in the morning to train, and then go their separate ways for the day. When evening came, they would return to the apartment. They would make small talk about what had gone on at Death by Pastry or the clinic, and Shaymin would eat at their feet when they had supper. Then the three of them would sleep in the same bed at night. It was just enough activity to keep their souls linked, but the bond they had now was definitely not the same bond they'd had before the sandstorm.

Was Russia to blame for all of this? Certainly not, though his arrival had without a doubt stirred up many ill feelings amongst the countries. America was determined to stop him before he did anything crazy, and he had enlisted England's help, though that was offered readily. England had promised to talk to Prussia about Germany's involvement with Russia, but the day of madness had given him an excuse for extra time. England didn't want to talk to Prussia about Germany, perhaps because he feared that Prussia would always take Germany's side.

And why shouldn't he? They were brothers, right? Germany and Prussia had always been there for one another, always looked out for each other. Always loved each other. Prussia had every right to support Germany's decisions, even if he wanted to follow him blindly. Naturally, that would not make England the least bit happy, but he would not be able to say anything about it. If Prussia wanted to be stupid, he could be stupid. England wouldn't even have considered saying anything if it were not for America's worry about Russia.

The day off from work had given England time to think about how to approach Prussia regarding the matter. Prussia and Shaymin were out of the apartment, and England had gone out to run errands and survey the damage done to the city (he would have to find out whose cars he'd wrecked). But being alone was never good for the island country. As the day passed, he found himself becoming more and more depressed the more he reflected on Prussia and Germany. He thought he had been doing better lately, but one harsh reminder had sent him backwards again. He didn't want to let America down, but he was now too afraid to speak to his partner.

All day, England worried and fretted about how he continued to let Prussia down, how he wasn't strong enough, how Prussia loved Germany more than him. At last, he fell asleep on the couch when his brain could handle no more negativity. Sleep was an easy escape. If only he could just sleep forever.
