Aqua didn't really believe in chance meetings; people are usually brought together for a reason, even if they may not know why yet.

At the same time though, she didn't particularly believe in fate either. Your future and the path you uptake is yours to choose, to carve out for yourself, created by the choices you make.

Until coming to Death City, she'd never believed in the inevitable...now she had no choice but to accept that it existed.

Granted, when Yuuri offered to help him get his head back together after the assault, Kanda had agreed to it. Reluctantly, but there. He figured if he could trust anybody, it'd be this guy, who'd been helping him out since he got here.

What he didn't account for? Yuuri's flamboyant and jealous boyfriend.

Alright, fine. He could handle that. Having one extra annoyance around wasn't a big deal, and Wolfram seemed happy to ignore him for the most part anyway. Just the way he liked it.

Naturally, that didn't take Yuuri's clumsiness into consideration. Or his habit of blushing like a cherry when something embarrassing was going.

So when he tripped on a chair and managed to land on Kanda just as Wolfram walked into the room? It was way, way more compromising than it needed to be. Especially when blondie instantly jumped to wrong conclusions.

Neither really understood what Valentines Day was really about, but they had both decided they had the gist of it-- Give chocolates and profess your love for the person who care most deeply about.

It somehow just seemed right that the Kouru and Eiko would spend February 13th together, both wearing frilly aprons as they attempted to figure out exactly how to go about making chocolates. It had proved to be a more complicated procedure than anticipated...

Covered from nearly head to toe in a mess of chocolates, both girls giggled. "Maybe we should just give up and go buy them," Kouru suggested with a giggle as she swiped her finger across Eiko's chocolaty nose. This only caused the younger of the two to stap her foot in protest, hands flying to hips. "No way, your Kenshin will know for sure your feels for him if you make it yourself!"

Kouru fought very hard to hide her blush. "Th-That's not--"
