I was enjoying dinner and a coffee with Steve last night. He's under a lot of pressure at work at the moment, but I am glad that things are getting better. More so on all fronts, he has a lot to look forward to, and I'm happy for him. Still, I won't steal his thunder or go into details that aren't mine to indulge. In many ways, being hyper-attentive to my flaws drags them closer to fore even as I try to hide them deeper. House hunting is going poorly. A really demotivating part is not having real estate agents get back to you when you inquire about a place. I sent out three emails on Wednesday, rang one agent on Tuesday... and nothing. I know it's a case of "if you don't follow it up you don't get anything done", but I'm finding their lack of interest offensive. ( Read more... ) -
Walking Blender
Steve and I discussed our romantic pasts again tonight. Mainly his primary school days, and my lack complete lack there of primary or other. I wonder at why, during my highschool days, I only had two crushes... possibly some latent obsessive tendencies. I certainly do not need to wonder at why these infatuations never amounted to much. -

I am pretty tired. I sat down with Steve last night, watched three hours worth of Gilmore Girls in a row. I was a bit upset about some things that happened that day, more of sympathy pains and a sense of helplessness. I won't elaborate, because it was Steve's issue and I butted in ( Read more... )
