- Having a great meeting with consultants (I know, I know but really it was fun and inspiring) and a glass of wine afterwards
- Having supper with J&S and chatting to the boys - hearing from M about the Golden Time that his class gets (not surprisingly at the end of the day on a Friday!)

- Sorting out a problem with a stroppy prospective sponsor - I’d seen the very nippy email from said PS last night (oh, I shouldn’t pick up emails at home!) and it actually prevented me from sleeping well last night. Ah well, I learn. I blame myself for handling it badly in the first place.

- Finding The Fruit in my second in-tray. A few weeks back we decided to throw away a rather hideous decorative thing, which we think was a prop for some children’s event in 2006. It was a big vase with silver-sprayed twigs sticking out of it.. Attached to the twigs were butterflies and ribbons and some bunches of anatomically incorrect pears. ( Read more... )

- Having two breakfasts! Both families wanted me for breakfast so I just had two. One american style and one with toast and marmite. I love being back home!
- Getting the paper and finding out that the article all about us at work didn’t paint us in too bad a light, although aspects of it still made me cross

- Waking up somewhere different. Bloody cold, but nice to be in the country, at home with my parents
- Walking across to J&S to have breakfast (they’d promised D a hotel breakfast as he’d missed on e earlier in the week)
- Relaxing with M, just chattering, drinking coffee, reading papers and so on

- Getting away from work 15 minutes early
- having a quick supper with J & S before heading down the road to M & D’s
- Seeing Mum look so well! She’s had two wee operations in the last month - both on her face - but she looked so well, and healthy. I really must go down more often

- Getting up early early early in time to move the car, way before 8am. hah! I beat those traffic wardens!
- Getting dressed up properly for work today - I know I looked really good and it gave me more confidence. I must remember to do proper make up every day!
