The Feedbox Back ... I Mean, Feedback Box

Sep 02, 2017 22:00

As hinted at many aeons ago (or perhaps it was just April), I have decided to lock comments on all the posts in this scribble journal of mine. This is partially because I was starting to feel as though I was giving people 'work' to do every time I posted, and partially because I tend to lose track of comments made on much older pieces here and ( Read more... )

Does that mean you'll mind if I ask whether you'd mind me sending them through e-mail? Since I'd feel much more comfortable that way. (To be honest, I find the prospect of commenting here on everything rather bewildering.)
*huggles* Not saying "Change it back!" of course. Just whether it's all right with you if I do it that way if you honestly don't want the comments on the posts themselves.

*looks at mood* Does that mean your muses are back? ^-~

No, that's fine, I don't mind either way, hon - but what bewilders you about this box? Let me know and maybe I can fix it. You can stick a note in the subject line about which story you're talking about if you prefer. And I'll be putting a direct link to this post (or to a related ladylight post if there is one) in everything I put into this journal, so you won't have to bookmark this entry or anything.

I think Simbelyne may have shamed them all into activity again! Good girl! *cuddles* Though I'm still trying to make Binni/Lorannon and Orinnia/Fiannas work as I type this ... ;D

I don't think it's anything with the box/idea itself, my dear. Well, not something that you're able to deal with. It just makes me feel panicky. *shrugs helplessly* I never claimed to make sense. ^-~

If E-mail's fine, then it's all well, me dear. (Though I might save longer stories like the latest till I've read all of it. Note the word 'might'.)

*huggles* Ooo, lookit all the scribbles! *squees* I will get to them as soon as I can, doll--but this weekend I'm house-sitting and have no 'net access there. I've just come home for a bit to see my kitties and to recuperate after giving blood a little while ago. o_0

Oo, and I'll probably join Shanra on the email thing. Which would you rather, the "alyssa" email or the "lyn..." sorry, I forget the rest of it, it's in my address book and I don't have it open in front of me... Point is, I think I have 2 email addies for you and I didn't know if you prefered one over the other ^_^

No worries! I reckon the memail's probably the one I check the most. (Ha ha ... memail ... I kill me) I used to try to keep the writing side of things to the lhynnith mail and the me side of things to the memail, but I stopped doing that quite a while ago because I love Gmail! ^_-

Mmmmm assassins =D I knew you'd fall eventually! Nobody can resist assassins forever!

I absolutely loved the ending. Tintauri is so very insane, I love 'im XD You're going to have to be careful with that lot. They're going to explode on you like the Fae soon enough =0

*points at Kharais* She's a former sassin! And a pro, too, not just a hobbyist! XD Just because she hasn't sassinated anyone on-screen, poor dear ...

Insane ... yes. Er, yes, he is. I think they're all a few sticks short of a bundle, particularly the Queen. >_> In fact they probably give Cochalyon a run for his money.

But they can't move in - I've got no more guest dressing rooms in my upstairs!! @_@

*le snug* Thanks for reading, hon :D :D

Heh heh, you didn't lock comments here... ;)

Ensue rather meaningless ramblage:

'05/'06 version of divine'
Fascinating. Is this going to tie in with 'Soulfire' somehow, or is it a completely separate universe?

Iron Hold: Examinations and Surveys Department
"Reshaped personnel" Am I dense, or has this not been mentioned much? *whistles* Yet I have the vague feeling I've met Calaten before...too many centuries, too many names. ;)

'The Third Blue Cohort'
That was beautiful, and I especially like the force of the repeated final lines.

'Interview with Arathalian'"Oh, Caren Brellview." I don't know what it is, but I want to bust out laughing everytime I see 'Caren Brellview ( ... )

Whoops, didn't find these until I came hunting for something else! Sorry about that, me dear :/ :/ And thanks for reading! I only lock these posts as a public service - comments here are always happily received (and possibly even promptly received now that I've switched mail notifications back on) ... ;)

Is this going to tie in with 'Soulfire' somehow, or is it a completely separate universe?
-- Yep, it'll be the same world. Whenever I read back now I'm struck by the feeling my subconscious wrote a lot of the early divine stuff as a sort of fleshing-out of what sketchy 'Seeking' religion should have been - four elemental families? plane of the Dead? tish, somehow familiar ;) Still not got Nuan his deity of beer yet, though.

Am I dense, or has this not been mentioned much?-- No, not dense, it hasn't come up for a long time ... a minor issue was made of it in 'The Iron Hold' (Calaten's from that), but that was a couple of years ago now ... yikes. There are Reshaped personnel in Dragonmakers (specifically Officer Raithe, the Ashcrofts ( ... )

More spam for the spammer... ;)

'Inyaron: Estelhari in Midsummer'
Aww, that's a sad little snippet. I like the little details of the environment you work in.

'Arathalian to Seithanyn'
Wow, that's beautiful, and more than a little chilling. And I hope he goes along with Arathalion's request, because I don't want to see more of the fae wiped out. (hypocritical as that statement may sound ;) And of course I'm curious as to when/where Arathalian is in this bit...
"I also ask because I knew your brother," he added, even more quietly"
Shouldn't read when my coworkers/phone are distracting me--at first my brain read 'knew' as 'slew'!

''Lullaby' Pieces'
*laughs* Those were too fun. Except all this 'fist' demonstration is reminding me of Lucy in 'Peanuts'!

Those were fun, but now I've got a boring committee meeting to get to. ;P Thanks for the pleasant distraction!

Eww, meetings ... thanks for reminding me how exciting it'll be to rejoin the workforce this year ;D

But thanks a lot more for dropping by and leaving me your thoughts on the notes, me sweet! Whenever I get off my bum and convert my untyped box of notebooks to text as well there'll be more spam avalanches, but we both know how soon that's NOT likely to be ... ;)

Have a lovely committee-free evening!
