Er, all! I have returned to civilization from Marine Combat Training, having enjoyed the 22 days spent out there immensely. Now I write to you from Norfolk Amphibious Base-Little Creekc [NABLC], home of the United States Armed Forces School of Music. This is it, my last weekend before I go to Marine Combat Training. To be honest, there are mixed feelings as I get ready for this endeavour, knowing that this is what I need to go through if I want to be a true Marine. Holy crap, two posts in one weekend? Someone pinch you, you must be dreaming! Last night I slept over my good friend Adam's house. I needed to think, and the reason I chose to do it at his house was because I needed to do it without my family interrupting me.
