Back from Atlanta. Lots of good food, good drinks and good company. I have been in a cooking frenzy this past weekend. Had to use my brand new Shun knives! Woot. I made bruschetta and some yummy panini sandwiches for lunch on Saturday. Tonight's Special...
Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and spicy bread crumbs - the green flecks are basil. Sounds simple but it was super yummy. The spicyness is from red pepper flakes. Something I learned with this is that when you add olive oil to freshly drained hot pasta, it smells really nutty. As some of you know, my girls were banished from my house by my mother and until I get my own place, they're staying with a friend. Said friend lives almost 300 miles away...but I visit once in a while.
