What I heard is that everything turned grimmer and darker when it happened.

There's also a theory floating around that the clock counts down to the end of all worlds.

Maybe this place can last a while without the Clock before things go really astray, if you know what I mean. It's freaky to imagine. But maybe the zombies were just a start...
