I love good MA films ... have you seen Hero, House of Flying Daggers, The LAst Samurai, and of course, Crouchign Tiger Hidden Dragon ... all are beautiful, worth seeing and reseeing, great music too.
I agree too. I actually saw that film at the movie theater. I believe I went to that 1.00 theater with my parents. I am slowly working my way back to that level where I used to go to stores and such at least. I saved my ticket. It was a big night and experience for me *smiles*. I think I just might purchase that film on DVD.
First I want to buy a real kick butt fighter film. I used to like Jean Claude Van Damme films. Though now I find them a bit cheesy and they started to become soft-core porn films with lots of pretty boy poses. Jackie Chan and Jet Li are all I can think of along the lines of guys who kick butt anymore. I'll have to find out about action stars who are lesser known to me who are impressive and inspiring.
