!!! sooo excited to post these.  everything together took about 4 .5 hours, including darren wrestling with the thermopaper machine thingy.

before:
done by darren at a convention six years ago, but by now is almost unreadable.  plus it is kinda lame, anyway.  what were you thinking,

I don't think your old terra incognita looked nearly as bad as you think it did.

However, the phrase and the cultural significance of the lotus flower complement each other well.

are you kidding me? some of the letters entirely closed up and given a few more years, it would just be a black line. BOOOOO

I liked the lettering, and the aged look gave it an old world feel, like it was part of an old map.
