All I remember about immigrating is extra doctors visits and shots though I was only 5. Paperwork can sometimes be a thorn in ones side. Congrats on sticking it out.

Oh that must have been kind of scary for you! Getting shots when you are little sucks. At least you were so little you didnèt have to do any paperwork for yourself, but I bet your parents were pulling their hair out, haha.

Yes, we decided on Calgary because I really want to be near my family after being away for so long. We wanted to do Van/Vic but it just seems impossible from so far away and with the olympics driving up prices etc. In Calgary we can afford a bigger place and we will just make it a stopping over point, hopefully just live there for a year or 18 months and then move onto somewhere better.
