Today has been a beautiful day. Greg called in sick to work. He got up around 8 and I slept in until 9 (heavenly) and then we walked over to Rose Donuts with Buzz. Greg went in and got us bagels and I stood outside with the dog, enjoying the perfect summer morning. I was wondering when your arrival date would be. Are you making it a leisure drive up to Canada?

Not exactly, G's dad is just planning our trip around pet-friendly hotels that he has reward miles for, so we'll be driving for probably 3 7h days instead of 2 14 hour or whatever. It's probably smart, as we could face a delay at the border crossing, and that built into such a long days could turn out badly.

so, wow. that's happening. and i think it's so wonderful that you've had a chance to be stable and settled. calming down, it seems, can really help you sort out priorities and figure out what you value in a life situation.

Yeah, having a few stable things in my life has given me the ability to do just that. I have found out a lot about myself and what I really want and I'm very thankful for it.
