I used auctions when I lived in the US, but I had to use a 3rd party company as a go between me and the seller. So they dealt with the seller, got the tickets from the seller, and then resent them to me. Of course I had to pay a fee for their help, but it was worth it since that was the only way at the time I could be guaranteed to have tickets before I went to Japan. ^__^
