I should really start working with references. I just kind of scribbled this out on a haphazard perspective grid. Next time I'm going to keep a few photos of Tokyo pulled up while I work.

Ooooh, that last one is good. This painting isn't finished, so I'm definitely going to use those refs when I wrap it up.

You can't tell at this resolution, but the whole thing is a mass of scribbly scribbles. It's a shoddy digital Van Gogh :P

I'm kind of experimenting with ways to cheat into a faster way of turning work out. If I paint ridiculously large and just scribble like crazy, it looks normal when I shrink it- kind of like how grainy digital photos sharpen up when you resize them way smaller. Yay for cheating ;D
