Just wrapped this up for a contest over at CGHub. The theme was an homage to Miyazaki. Mine is a triptych based on the idea of Howl opening portal doors into the worlds of Princess Mononoke and Spirited away- unleashing vengeful spirits from both in the process.

Sorry to repost ;p

I wasn't quite able to finish this one, since we had to move studios while I was working on her. The neck area is pretty lame, and some spots are a bit unfinished. Not a big deal, though, since its just a study anyway. All the real learning comes from the hair, which I spent plenty of time on.
