riding a bike in denver winter? yikes. i remember doing that as a kid in montana. we even chained up our tires. nowadays, though, i'd totally puss out.

san francisco is only 7 miles square, so riding is really convenient. well, except for the frequent 45 degree inclines in every direction :P

if i had any sense, i probably would have gotten a mtb, since San Francisco is all hills. just can't do it, though. can't tailwhip a mountain bike :P

I'm inclined to think that that lamp post with the flowers was photoshopped in. Love Frisco but it's not that....Seattle-y.

i see that kind of thing in the civic center area sometimes. there are some very comp-y feeling things in there, though. the bus display that says "san francisco," for instance :P
