Basically, they just walked into the room.
Poland's hand was wrapped in some kind of thin, gross, dirty green cloth--because, well, no way was he going to admit he seriously hurt himself, so no clean doctor bandages for him. There were a few small spots where the blood had soaked through, leaving an ugly brown stain.
