So..today was a pretty good day...I took my sociology test and it went very well...i also sat and chit chatted with Paul for awhile. They made him an assistant manager at his movie theatre..which is really good, and also he is going for an interveiw with the sunrise police dept. So i am broke...my books this semester have cost a little more than five hundred dollars. It is unbelievable that they are doing students like this and charging outragous prices for books.

Chris and i are working out our problems now, we are back together and i am very happy about it...i do love the kid with all my heart.

A 26 year old guy today came through my line...when i handed him his receipt...he wrote on it and handed it back..and smiled...he wrote his phone number and his name...i wont call...but i am taking it as a sign..i am still young, i know exactly who i am and what kind of person i am...i will definitely be ok ( Read more... )

I sat in my car for a good hour crying tonight...hoping every pair of head lights coming towards my house were his...imagining that he came after me...to tell me he loved me, and to hold me in his arms before he left in the morning. I guess you have to be here to know exactly how bad this hurricane situation is. I have been working non stop at publix...since the day after the hurricane..tuesday, it's been unbelievable. People were literally fighting with each other over food and ice, and water. Tuesday i worked in near pitch black conditions in the store but we were open. ( Read more... )

It's almost one in the afternoon...the hurricane is almost over...the winds are still pretty strong. Our power has been out since about 6:30 this morning..and it is quite hot...but i have screened windows in my room...so i am fine.
