Good news from your neck of the woods. We're cool here, every way you look at it - no sun though as clouds are gathering for probably more rain. The hurrican has hit the coast of Nova Scotia and the webcams on Halifax Harbour and Peggy's Cove are now not functioning. Peggy's Cove earlier was fabulous with huge waves, tourist cars coming in, but I'm sure no-one will be allowed near the lighthouse and the rocks close to the water. The waves claim a couple of reckless tourists every year despite warnings and signs.

That's a wonderful way to look at things. I used to wake up dreading going to work so badly I would almost get physically sick. Finally it occurred to me, today is the best day I'm going to get ... until tomorrow. And I only have to work today, until then. Now I can worry this day away, or make it count by appreciating it fully. I won't get another one just like this one.

Too many times we try to face too much at one time and it's thing we usually can do nothing about. Appreciating, loving and enjoying today is the best thing we can do. And it's all we're guaranteed until we get up tomorrow.
