I'm sure getting outside and in the company of friends is almost as healing as just plain resting! And I'm also sure you didn't over do it. So glad to hear you are healing up nicely.

It's posole, and it's a BIG tradition here in New Mexico to cook a huge pot on Christmas Eve to feed everyone who stops by. All your ingredients look right on the money.
It's probably too late to volunteer to come clean the kitchen after your cooking festival...

Thanks for the spelling help and the great idea for a Xmas Eve feast. Oh yeah! I may need a vegetarian dish to go with that for some folks, but how hard can that be?

I'm glad you're getting 'out and about.' The fresh air will do you good and the exercise will help you to heal that much quicker! You go, girl!
