You almost make 'coming down with something' sound like fun, chicken soup, warm red fleecy warm blanky, mmmm hmmm... I'm okay and that sounds enticing.

The red fleece blankie has fat little snowmen on it, so bright adn cheerful. I'm not putting it away after the holidays, just gonna enjoy it for fighting the winter blahs ;-)

Oh yeah, you reminded me... I have some echinacea tea I should be drinking myself. Hope you get to feeling better.

I was told to take a couple echinecea capsules every half hour or hour for a couple days to really attack the cold at it's first sighting, and odd as that sounds, it really helped.

It's nothing you'll find on the bottles, just anecdotal from someone who worked in a chiro office in Canada and got exposed to to loads of colds but still needed to be up and able to work quickly. Of course any kind of hot drink helps too, with a bit of honey or lemon if you can handle that. Otherwise, just plain hot liquids to soothe the throat and help with the sinuses.
