I should be excited about tomorrow.  Earlier I was excited about tomorrow.  I've been waiting for this for years.  I've kicked ass and taken names for a long time just to get here and now the apathy is setting in like so much fog.  Ce La Vie.

Sometime this morning I achieved cable wrapping zen.  I have become one with common mode rejection.

Most days I sleep in until 5 minutes before I HAVE to leave the house to be on time for school, sometimes a little after that.  Every once in a while, though, I get up early to take a shower while listening to Iron Maiden.  That's right.  I like Iron Maiden.  AND YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO LEARN TO DEAL WITH THAT.

I failed myself hardcore today.  I heard the alarm go off, I thought I'd be cool if I laid around for another 5 minutes or so.  An hour later, I was at the wrong campus and my teacher had already left.  Then I had to drive back home through rush hour traffic.  All this BEFORE 9AM.  What the fuck is going on.  4 alarms just isn't enough for me ( Read more... )

I live with my parents again.  I maintain that I'm doing this as a means of saving for coming months as opposed to not being able to support myself.  $350/month isn't that big a deal, but it's money I'd rather was going towards living in LA.  I can't play my guitar as loud (yet), but I can wake up at 7:30 and hit the gym before class starts.  After ( Read more... )

Maybe I should just bitch less.  In response to your inquiries, I'll be moving to LA to pursue a career in the audio recording industry.  I don't know at this point if a diploma from this school will get me as far as everyone says it will out there, but I love doing it and I think I'll be pretty happy whether I make it big or make it mediocre. 

Holy shit.  I'm getting closer and closer to the date I'm slated to move back home to save some money and I don't know if I want to anymore.  I love my fucking house.  I don't think it's worth the $1750 it would cost me to hold on to it for the additional 5 months or so before I leave AZ all together but damn am I gonna miss this ( Read more... )

I took my lame-ass bed that felt cheap and sagged on one side and fixed it up into a full featured sleep-accommodation unit fit for an arch-bishop using my hands, a drill, some ply-wood, a hammer, and my humongous brain.  I am all that is man. 

School just gets better and better. I was there probably every night this week except Wednesday just for fun. My classmates are totally sweet, my instructors are awesome, and I'm doing something I really like doing.
