I have a quick question for the flist. I've just managed to get hold of some episodes of a series called 'Drive', with Nathan Fillion. Is this still being broadcast in the US, only I could only find 6 episodes of it, and I've got kind of addicted.

Thanks in advance

Haven't seen it yet, though the boy wants to. I think it was yet another short-lived Nathan Fillion series (like Firefly :( ). I can't find it in the listings here at least.

According to IMDb, eight episodes were filmed, and six aired in the US before FOX pulled the plug. There's a possibility there will be a DVD release of the complete series in the future, as other popular but quickly cancelled FOX series (Firefly, etc) have received a DVD release "consolation prize" for fans. Other networks have "burned off" unaired episodes of cancelled series online, but FOX has been glacial about offering any online TV episodes at all, even of successful series. Some fans are offering bootlegs of what you already have on various forums, but obviously they don't have the unaired episodes.

yup it was cancelled rather quickly. We caught one or two episodes and Fillion was probably the only thing interesting to us in the whole thing but hey if you enjoyed it... :D I wasn't sure how they were going to pull off making it last multiple seasons. O.o

Yep, cancelled. Seems to be Fox's song of late. Wasn't too sure what to make of it yet but now we'll never know. I've only watched four EPs and have two to go... waiting for a Fillion withdrawal to fix, I guess. ;)

What the others said, hubby really liked it and was quite miffed when it got cancelled.
