Let me start by saying that was a very entertaining read. I know I shouldn't have been laughing, but you had some great descriptors in the post.

Indeed this was a great read. I hope by now you have resolved you issues with Charter and their HD. If not let me offer DISH Network as a solution. I work for DISH and they have 200+ HD Channels, including NESN, and for both new and existing customers, HD programming is available for free. Anybody wanting information can go to dish.com/hdfree.
