It's been a great weekend so far. Last night, we went to see the Bob Malone band at The Mint (Matt was playing) and it was fantastic. Didn't get home until midnight. I am discovering that the sound of a clock ticking makes me frazzled. Well, maybe not frazzled, but decidedly uneasy. I am thoroughly bummed that Ms. J is leaving. I really liked her focus. She made people understand that doing it right is the point of the exercise, and loving what you do is the way to go. People who love what they teach will always teach better and set more students going than people who teach because they are assigned to the subject. Damn!

It has been a productive day - I got a start on cleaning out the shed (inverse of the black hole in my car) where everything exists at the same time in the same place. Some trash thrown out, some memories put where they can be found again, some minor organizing. Found some of the favorite childhood books and moved them to accessible ( Read more... )
