Whee! Thanks for this. I know that River, on her bad days, isn't that easy to write and this is just so nicely her. Very good voice. Thanks again.

I prefer the notion that River isn't all better just for sharing one horror through layers of psychosis. I like the breaking through the psychosis, I just... I like the idea that she would still have bad days, still be an abused little girl, and still be brilliant enough to find a way to tell Simon what the psychoses say she mustn't.

And that Simon believes. And still puts her first. That is Simon at his best.

This is very nice. I like this a lot.
