Today is my parents' wedding anniversary.  They have been married for a beautifully long time and endured through some difficult years.  My husband and I celebrated our own anniversary a short while ago (a blissful seven years and counting).  Consequently, today I am thinking about putting a love story in my new novel.

Today was a big writing day.  Three pages done!    I wrote a prologue the other day, so I am now on page eight.  I made the mistake of having my opening scene go for the same emotion my prologue does, so I've begun an interceding scene to make a nice foil.  Maybe I'll work some more tonight.

I've had this journal for a week, and it's about time I made another entry.

I've begun planning my second novel in earnest.  No more pining after the first novel that's 160,000 words.  I love my first story, but I'm practical enough to get to work on something shorter.
