So tomorrow is my epic drive to Redding. Which really isn't that far away, and I wouldn't care except I hate driving alone for more than like ten minutes. Mostly I'm worried I'll get lost and won't have anyone to navigate me. If it makes you feel any better, I too am now on the rag, and yearned only for death last night. I also make regular road trips on my own. It does kind of suck, but if you can just stay somewhat distracted, it's not too bad. Good luck with all the things going on in life.

I used to make regular road trips on my own, and for a lot longer drive. But I knew the way really well, and I don't know Redding AT ALL. As it turns out... it wasn't so bad.

Sorry I have no advice for you, although I understand. Being alone is still a daily struggle that I never learned to accept well.

All I can tell you is think that in less than 24 hrs you'll be back with Brian and co in your comfort zone.

Here's an idea...think about sex while you're driving to Redding. That way you won't notice you're in Redding. It'll make the trip less sucky.

That sounds cool. You don't have to see the play if you really don't want to, but it would be nice to see you either way.

You should also call Bethany and see if she can catch a ride up with you... apparently her car is having break problems.

Actually, I want to see you as much as Bethany, but since you're visiting Ahmed I thought you'd be spending more time with him, and also I think Bethany would probably enjoy the play more than you. I have Saturday and Sunday off, so if you want to hang out some time during the day (or on Friday night after the show), that would be awesome. And invite Ahmed if you want/if he wants. I'll be nice to him.
