Snow is REALLY cold!!!

Wow, totally forgot how cold snow is, how cold being in snow is, how cold the air is when it's snowing. Had fun in Yosemite this weekend, just a little frosty around the edges, but I'm thawing out nicely. Snowshoeing is a great workout so I felt like I accomplished something even though I found myself eating huge amounts in response to the

ooooh details about yosemite! Where'd you go? what did you do?

we snowshoed around Badger Pass. It was chains-required getting up there, which was interesting. I've never been in such conditions before. We had three cars taking folks up there. There were 14 of us on the trip. We stayed in Curry Village in Yosemite in the canvas tent cabins, which are heated, but it was still very cold. Other than the snowshoeing on Sunday we mostly hung around Yosemite Lodge at night for dinner and drinks. We went up Sat. and came home Mon. so it wasn't a very long trip, but it was a nice drive in and out, and a nice time in the snow.

Of course, judging by the lack of gender specifics in the "old co-worker" and many of your former co-worker friends... wink, wink, nudge, nudge, cause, trouble.... ;)

actually, it is a HE and it's not MLS. this guy was married for most of the time I knew him, and he got divorced from evil cheating wife right before I left, and apparently has been developing feelings for me in the last couple of months. he's very nice and I like him a lot, I am just trying to decide if I LIKE him or not. It's hard to see him as single now and change the buckets.
