I think I'll go rock climbing this weekend to de-stress.

So we had to stop in at Rite Aid to get some batteries for the camera before heading to the Botanic Gardens, and what was the first thing that I saw after walking through the door? Otter Pops! A box of 100, no less. I haven't eaten these things in probably ten years, so I'm pretty stoked.

Hey, cool- I'm in the University Honors & Sociology Honors programs now. The question is, do I really want/need to be? Honors thesis what? I hate it when I'm right. Before starting the American History course I'm taking during the summer, I emailed the professor to get the syllabus and to inquire whether all the books listed would be necessary purchase. He had six books listed coming to around $200, so I figured it worth asking (especially since it's only a three week course). He ( Read more... )

Well, I guess I'm learning the hard way that I have to quit this procrastinating shit. Haven't been to sleep yet and still have three more pages to write on my research paper and then proof the hell out of it. It's due in eight hours, whee.

As of today, I'm officially a homeowner!

They finally sent me an offer where I work and I start on Monday as a permanent employee! I got exactly as much money as I asked for, and got a new title and everything. I'm now the Testing Coordinator, hoo-ray!
