Wow...glad you're feeling better. Funny thing...I have a scar on my left eyebrow from falling into the bathtub face forward when I was 5 or so (long story short, I'd insisted on "independence" a little too early.) I remember being all excited about the word "stiches", as in "Ooooh! I'm going to get stiches!", lol. Yah, dork from an early age. Anyway, looks like you're going to OK...good deal.
:) getting the stitches wasn't bad...i mean you only really feel some tugging, if anything at all. i already have two scars on my forehead from childhood accidents, so this third one should be the charm.
thanks! it WAS pretty cool when at one point i had 15 wires attached me...i found myself wishing that one was a usb cable...plug me in and let me download songs directly to my soul.
i think scars have long made their contribution to sex appeal. you didn't really need any more of that, my friend.
something like that happened to me once. i was walking somewhere in my house and then i was suddenly laid out on the floor. i didn't even remember falling or feeling any impact until i felt the pain shooting up my back. i don't think i blacked out, because my thought process remained virtually uninterrupted until the point when i thought, "what am i doing on the floor? and why does my head hurt all of a sudden?" that's how quickly it happened.
anyway, i'm glad you're ok. freak accidents frighten me, so i'll leave you with the same advice you left me after i was mugged; stay safe. :)

thanks for the concern and the advice. someone suggested a crash helmet...i am seriously considering it for home-use. better safe than stitched.
