Where did Simon's post go? I am saddened.

I can’t believe PJ is holding his post hostage with a ransom demand of a post by me. I only hope he has actually written his story and just hasn’t posted it yet, because otherwise I could see the laziness bug working to nullify the agreement ( Read more... )

You are out of control.

Seriously though, I hear getting fired is no joke.

You hear getting fired is no joke? Obviously it is a serious matter, but that doesn't mean it would be devastating to me personally. I am not motivated in life by money, which is why I was so disappointed that you deleted your post. I only got a chance to skim through it before, but I wanted to read it thoroughly and propose my feelings in complete opposition to yours. Oh well.

Money matters. Time is money. Money may not be everything, but it sure does help.

If you had to pay 1.5x as much taxes just because you live somewhere else and don't get any more benefits, and you don't have a problem with this outrageous atrocity, then you need a flogging.

Seriously, don't get canned. You should shit or get off the pot though. Don't do a half-ass anything in life. That just leads to nowhere.

I have to be honest, I would never have pegged you for the resident workplace goofball. If someone, I, we, us, people, were to come hang out at your work for a day, act the fool and just be generally disruptive, what do you think the repercussions would be?

So I'm surfin the web, and I come across Collins divorcing his wife, and it says he was in Genesis. I looked up Genesis, and apparently Collins took over the singing when Gabriel left.

Anyway, I used to say that those fuckers were the same person anyway, so either a)I knew it way before, and subconsciously knew they were in the same band, or b)I'm lucky.

I'll go with lucky.

Hey, when are you switching schools, and to where?

I know what Sid means when he says that he doesn't expect you do be the goof-off at your work, but I am not surprised at all. I can get really motivated to accomplish something if I feel it is worthwhile and my time is well spent on it. On the other hand if I find a task lame and remedial, I find myself loathing to do it. Even when I know I need to do a task, if I am not motivated I sometimes will just not do it, and find ways to avoid the task, even if avoiding it takes even more effort than the initial task would have taken to complete. I think this sort of behavior is common among people who know they can accomplish something worthwhile(I'm not trying to compliment myself, it just kidna sounds that way). I think because of this it is imperative that everyone I know do something that they will enjoy to a certain degree. Only a select few can love their work, but doing something that you don't enjoy is digging your own grave. Enough of my ramblings, I will now begin posting as per my previous post.

Man, these weren't ramblings. This entire comment was great, and I completey agree with everything you said. Thanks for expressing a lot of what I have been experiencing and thinking so succinctly.
