Weirdly, that is not the first time someone has said one of my fics made them like Adrian, when they never had previously. Given that I actually don't like him that myself this is deeply disconcerting. (I mean, he's fascinating, but he's a bastard ...)

Someday his office will be at the top of a skyscraper and the only birds will be passerby on the wing, but for now, he's pleased with his neighbors.
