His trenchcoat is short on Laurel's rangey frame, leaving too much pale wrist showing at the cuffs, but he pulls the collar up around his ears anyway. The hands are the same size, at least, even if hers are so much finer, so the diary fits in them the way it always did.

He wrote that over an hour ago, and then stopped, because he can't quite find words in his usual lexicon to describe what has happened. He has a rich vocabulary of filth and disgust, but none of those words are right, because what she did was not filthy and he is not disgusted. He keeps expecting to feel violated; but it has not come. He wonders if it is some function of her body, if a woman simply cannot feel those things. He waits, huddled in the trench, thinking.
Finally he writes,

AND THUS MY HEART WAS STOLEN. omg, I cannot even articulate how much I loved that line or even WHY I love that line so much. It's just-I don't-I guess it's just awesome how Dan's random and ridiculously awkward little quirks make sense to Rorschach because they've been partners for so long. I dunno. I love you. That's about it.
