I'm not sure why I'm really writing in all honesty. Everyone I cared about and talked with has probably long since moved on, changed their names, gotten married or maybe even died. In fact, I'd be positively stunned if anyone I once knew actually sees this and reads it

It's wonderful to hear you've been alive and well, Lisa. I've long since moved on from Dreamwidth and I scarcely believe you'd remember me (Rune, that is), but I did on occasion wonder where you'd gone and whether or not you were doing well.

I'm not quite sure what else to say. Weird, isn't it? Nine years is a long time.

Ohmygosh, of course I remember you! I'm not that much of an old lady now, you know!! When I said I wonder about the people I befriended and used to talk to, that's a pretty comprehensive list of folks! I hope your adventures have been treating you as well as my own. It's scary how fast time flies (but I suppose that means we're having fun, right?)

There just doesn't seem to be anywhere out there on the internet that scratches the itch that LJ did years ago for me. I think Dreamwidth is probably just as dead, sadly. But I suppose this just means I'll have to rely on motivation from other areas to inspire me to keep writing!
