I love the beach more than anything, and used to go very frequently; but my partner has the same sand-aversion, so I almost never go anymore.
I have total envy for your singing talent.

My earliest memory of it is a doll that my Nan used to have, for us to play with, at her house.
It was quite old, even then - 30+ years ago.
I was about 8-ish and it had been my aunty's so it was probably from the 50s/60s.
Anyway, this particular doll had hair that was quite sparce so you could see, quite easily, every bit of hair that was stuck into the plastic scalp.
I remember it completely freaking me out, ALL the time. I hated it, but I have no idea why!
Since then, it's kinda snowballed into ridiculousness (or maybe it's just with age that I have realised how ridiculous it is. I guess that's phobias for you!)
