I really wish I didn't have to start the new year on a negative note.

But it's become apparant that christhegoth has been having a pop at me again ( Read more... )

Quit reading his journal. It doesn't matter what he says about you there, because nobody else is even looking. A quick scan of his last 60 public posts shows only one user other than Chris himself commenting.

I pretty much have, I had this one pointed out to me and decided it was finally time to make the public post I've been meaning to make for some while.

As he is still going on about his flatmates from uni, I figure he's never going to drop it, so really may as well give up.

Definitely time to just let it go. What he does, he'll do, regardless of what you say or do. I just hope it'll end sooner rather than later.

Oh good god. Not him again. I tried to have a quick scan of his journal to see what he was saying about you but quickly gave up. It made my head swim and there was so much of it...

I agree with Kieran, hardly anyone reads his journal and those that do know he is insane and not to listen to what he says. I know ignoring his horrible comments when they are aimed at you is easier said than done but he's not on this planet and there is no reasoning with him and no shutting him up so it is about the only thing you can do. Hope you are ok.

Yes, I think he's generally proved his own character by his actions.

I just felt I should finally get around to posting the public entry I've been meaning to do for some time.

He's currently accusing me of practising medicine without a licence (!!!) It's getting weirder and weirder...this time next year I'll probably have shot JFK as well!

Yeah...Chris is quite happy to describe, as gospel, things that he interprets to be true, without cheicking facts. I'd like to see him give a few examples of my supposed unlicenced medical practice.

It was nice to see Sallypointzero actually say something like that. To this point she's been agreeing with him for the most part.

Though it still remains the case that she's the one that sent me money by paypal (I'm thinking of screencapping that transaction - with textboxes over the addresses etc - and post it to Chris' journal, but fear it will open a can of worms) then called me all the things a dog wouldn't lick when I actually sent her the thing that was paid for (and now I think about briefly SPOKE to her about it 2008/9 NYE appologising I'd not sent it yet, so it didn't reach her until Jan 9th)...so I'm not convinced there's going to be a lot of rational thinking.

As I said at the time...I'd be really angry if I wasn't so incredibly confused!

PS "The bats are in the belfry" Meet me by the grassy knoll ;)That sounds like it could ( ... )

I understand your desire to try to help, though. I've done the same thing, and gotten a similar reaction in the past. Sadly, it's situations like this that have made me pause before getting involved in anyone's life at all. I just can't go through it again.

Really, the only thing you can do is ignore him. The crazy things he's saying? Some will believe...for a while. Then he'll turn on them and they'll realize that most of his words are crazy illusions and know what he said about you was not true.

*hug*

It has certainly made me think twice about getting involved in things since. In some ways it's a good thing because - hopefully - it's taught me to spot toxic friends for the future.

An accusation of "practising medicine without a licence" is close to meaningless in the context of English law and does not impress the reader. Sorry you are going through all this shit.

Yeah...I know it's a pretty daft accusation, but it's not something I really want associated with me as it makes me look like a bit of a spiv!

Thanks, and sorry my first two posts have been me taking photos of my hands and rumour dispelling!

Well, I can think of a few feelings towards his demise:
-The possibility of having something to piss on in a cemetary, thereby sidestepping the fact that graveyards have no public conveniences.
-Being able to use his headstone as a way to bitch and complain pretentiously how ugly modern headstones compared to prior styles in a way that goths love to complain about (In that it's incredibly pretentious, morbid and no one else really cares)
-And a chance to practice a bit of grave robbing during night time visits

Always look for the opportunies in these things, as they say ;-)

Seriously Libby, I'd say you're better off ignoring the guy. He's nuts and hardly a reputable source of info. And everyone knows he's screwball it seems.

Heh!

When a friend to London with me recently, we found ourselves perfectly naturally chatting on the tube about them not making graves like they used to ;p
