i hear ya, rory's journalism always seemed a bit unrealistic. but for someone like rory who loves achievement AND learning for its own sake, it seems like a big leap to quit school -- where there's some measure of entertainment, enrichment, structure -- to do nothing and freak out. maybe be aimless at school and take a sculpture class... but quit? i also find it funny that her grandparents would support this...

we'll see! i wonder if luke and lorelei will get engaged??
