...that's been done to death, but I'm going to post about it anyway :P  When I wrote my last entry, my period piece as I like to call it (really, really bad pun intended) I never really said why I'd written it.  I know, I know- does there really need to be a why? You might want to throw this up at erotillectuals or somewhere like that, see what folks have to say.

There's a lot of individual variation in response to menstruation. It's never bugged me noticably, but I've known some otherwise very uninhibited people who it affected pretty strongly. Most notable was the gangbang party the hostess cancelled 'cause she was on the rag.

As you probably know, many religions have big taboos surrounding menstruation, including traditional versions of the three scriptural religions.

You may want to have a look at furrygirl's site, Erotic Red.

I understand there are religious and social reasons why menstruation is viewed so negatively. What's surprised me though is that even the most sexually open people, like the example you used for instance, feel such strong dislike for something that's not only completely natural, but happens so often.

Thanks for the link- I'd seen that site a while ago, but lost a lot of my links when my laptop had a melt down.

I'll check out that community too, although I tend to avoid posting much that's going to be seen by more than a handful of people.
