Surprisingly enjoying the long weekend....

... I really wasn't expecting to- all 3 kids at home, no spare cash since we've had return flights and passports to pay for, and me having a bit of a cold, didn't seem like it would be a whole lot of fun.  Surprisingly though its actually been a pleasant weekend so far, pretty laid back even, as far as these things go

That's why I hate writing custom smut, even for lovers I know quite well. Every sentence, I'm fretting about whether I'll squick or annoy or just bore my target reader.

One sort-of exception, I did have fun actually collaborating with a lover on a story once. That was fine, cause if she didn't like something, she'd immediately tell it, and then we could brainstorm alternates.

I've been through this with the same person once already and I should have learnt my lesson then. I ended up with parts in a story that he'd wanted written in and the cheesiness just makes me cringe every time I read it.
