Argentinians are extremely enthusiastic when they've won.

OH MY GOD.

Where am I

Who is she

Where are my clothes

Why can't you answer any of those questions?

No. The answer to that is obvious.

I might be upset if I can't find my broom in a few minutes, here. YOU HELD ON TO THE JOURNAL BUT NOT YOUR ESCAPE ROUTE? Vilken jävla idiot

Is this one of those psychology tests with the inkblots where I'm supposed to see naughty things, but if I say so, then I'm mad, and if I don't, then I'm still mad? How charming!

I am not in the mood, Finch-Fletchley Setting up pornographic inkblots isn't how I'd use these (school-sanctioned, after all--) journals, but it sounds like an interesting experiment, nonetheless. Do you see anything out of the ordinary?

They're only naughty if you want to see it that way! I'm sure one could always justify why the inkblots are perfectly all right if one was clever enough. And I see a chap duck on top of a lady duck, but they could be pheasants instead -- I think I'd have an easier go of telling if they were animated.

What do you see? I'm sure it's more charming than what I just saw!

There you go: your next Muggle Studies project. I don't think the Muggle Healers animate theirs, but Professor Hookum won't know the difference, anyway it's the psychology behind the thing, isn't it?

I see my life flashing before my eyes. GOD   I see a few singularly uninteresting early-morning observations, hastily destroyed. Nothing too charming, unfortunately.

Rough night?

A bit. A painful moment of clarity reminded me that it didn't need to be recorded in the annals of history, i.e., this particular journal.

Does it look as impressive as it no doubt did to you last night?

Irving. Do I or did I ever know anyone named Isabella. This is important.

Why, what's going on?

IF ONLY I KNEW. Nothing, but it's not where I last remember it.

Right. Well, hope it all turns out all right. You weren't drinking like all the other Quidditch types, were you?

Yeah, thanks -- I'm certain everything will turn up roses, &c., eventually. Fortunately, I leave the country in another week. This is just like that time in France

You alright there, Boot?

Aside from a momentary lapse of good judgement (and motor control; hence the spill), yes; thanks.

I'd ask, because I'm a curious sort, but somehow I don't think you'd tell me. Either way, don't be too hard on yourself. We can all be idiots sometimes.

In another few hours, my penmanship will improve, Cicely; I apologise for any amusement distress this may cause you in the meantime.
