but here is a brief update on my life.

1. i finally met someone who makes me so incredibly happy.
2. i'm living in d.c. this summer. it's not bad.
3. i work full time as a reporter, and i'm editor in chief of the eagle.
4. planning on going to grad school in new york city, but we'll see if i get in.
5. it most definitely doesn't feel like summer.

i haven't written here since i wanted to jump out my dorm room window. i've improved significantly since then. it's almost like i'm this brand new, bright and shiny person. the person who wrote that entry was completely jaded and broken in all ways that she couldn't express. she was excluded and cold, and she didn't have any idea how to get out of ( Read more... )

today, i watched ted kennedy endorse barack obama in the same place where i played intramural volleyball first semester. not on tv, but in real life. and despite all the drinking game jokes (shot for every time someone mentioned hope or change)--it was really cool to hear TED KENNEDY say "thank you, american university" and go on to endorse a ( Read more... )
