That right there... That's the funniest damn thing I've heard all day.
Growing season = GOLD!
I know, I miss you too! Chance actually called me last night about a job opening around the beginning of July. The timing is perfect because our lease is up the end of June, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Although I just met (even though we work together) someone and I don't know if anything will happen but she's really cool and I'd hate to move shortly thereafter.
Let me know how things go (both with the job and the girl). I can understand reluctance to move if things work out with the girl, but you know that whatever you end up doing, I'll always back you. I just want to see you happy. :)
Can you even imagine me as a farmer? That's a scary thought.. haha
Wolfmother is playing that Placebo show, right? I was thinking about going to that, but Peeping Tom is playing that same night and I'm a huge Mike Patton dork so I'll probably end up at the Peeping Tom show.
I have some advice on your framing dilemma, actually - I just got a pretty big screenprint (25 3/8" x 34") framed at Hobby Lobby and I think the total cost was around $65 or $70. They're have a 50% off sale on their custom frames this month (though they still charge full price for the glass, which is BULLSHIT), so you can get out pretty cheap. Just ask for the cheapest frame and the cheapest glass type and they'll set it up for you. The whole process takes about two weeks, and it's still a little more expensive than a pre-made frame, but it's worth it if you really like the print.
I think you may be right about Wolfmother... I'm just really looking forward to that show. I love Placebo. I have since I was 16 years old. When I saw them in October, I've gotta say it was one of my favorite shows I've ever been to.
I'll have to remember the Hobby Lobby thing. Everything I have ranges in size from 12"x12" to 24"x36". Sounds like that might be the way to go. Thanks for the tip, Devin!

But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Make sure you put up a scarecrow.
