Katrina...One Year
Well, many things have changed since Katrina rolled through. Due to a influx of people from the south shore, our realty went through the roof and my parents sold their house. Whew
Well, just to let everyone know, my dad is fine. He had a vascular loop that was disguising itself as a Cerebral Aneurysm so nothing had to be done. We are still searching for the cause of his head pain, but at least he doesn't have to undergo such an invasive surgery anymore. -
Good Day
I had a pretty damn good day today. It started with a hangover from last night, but I didn't let it stop me from going to my first day of Tennis at 8 am. From there I realized that I didn't have class for the rest of the day so I went home, played with Broux and called Alex to see if she wanted to have lunch. I played some mad beer pong tonight. I played the first game with Chad M. for table and won while the opponents still had 7 cups left. Then Chad and I won while the opponents had 6 cups left. Short n sweet
Got a new boat. Actually it is an old boat, just new to me. Anyway, It is a 1966 Avalon Glasspar. 16 footer. It is SWEET. I am putting a new transome in this week sometime. The boat is already at the repair shop, then I will start to work on the Cleats, Chocks, and other things like this. I am replacing them all with Brass components. It is ( Read more... ) -
Fishing Report
Went fishing again today. This time I brought along Patrick and John Daniel.
We went down to hopedale and fished the west side of the jetties about 1/4 Mile up from the 59 cut. We took some very nice reds. About 8 in all. We also caught 3 Flounder, 5 Specs, and 2 Sheepheads.
It was a fun, but long day.

Fishing Report
Thursday I went to the mouth of the South Pass on the lake Pontchartrain side and fished between the power-line and River marker. The tide was going out into the lake, there were no clouds in the sky and the wind was blowing up some nice 1.5-2ft swells. I caught a 3.5 lb Speck, a 2.8 lb Speck, and a 17 in Red.
