This is a Book Rec Post

So LJ, rec me all your favorite books. Looking especially for Young Adult and Children's. What are books you/your kids are reading now? All-time favorites? Etc. etc. etc.

We just opened a 2nd location of the store and we're going to be focusing on books again, so I need to get a variety into the store other than just what I like to read.

Yay books! But my all time favorite young adult series is the A Series of Unfortunate Events series. SO GOOD. And some of my other favorite children's/young adult books are Freak the Mighty, and uh...none others are coming to my mind at the moment D: I guess I read a lot of adult books when I was young lol.

I actually don't read many Young Adult/Children's books except for Harry Potter, The Hunger Game trilogy, and a few others. But you might want to have ALL the Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle books by L.J. Smith ( ... )

For kids:

The Moomins series - Tove Jansson

Alice in Wonderland/ Through the looking glass (but this hardly needs recommendations ;)

For teens:

Ghostly Companions - Vivien Alcock (Sadly I think this is out of print, weirdest eerie ghost stories I ever read as a kid)
