This is a Book Rec Post

So LJ, rec me all your favorite books. Looking especially for Young Adult and Children's. What are books you/your kids are reading now? All-time favorites? Etc. etc. etc.

We just opened a 2nd location of the store and we're going to be focusing on books again, so I need to get a variety into the store other than just what I like to read.

I have to compile a list this weekend because I'm too exhausted to stay awake this week, but I want to tell you that Aristotle and Dante Discovers the Secrets of the Universe is AMAZING! You HAVE to check it out!

Just finished Every Day by David Levithan -- great. Reading Ask The Passengers by A.S. King (FANTASTIC). Rules of Survival by Nancy Werlin. Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarity. Those are all YA.

Kids picture books: Memoirs of a Goldfish, Dragons Love Tacos, Press Here, Up Tall and High, KnuffleBunny (all three of them), the Click Clack Moo books, Library Lion, Birthday for Cow...

Chronicles of Nick is about the only Y/A series I'm reading right now and it's a tie in series to Sherilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters series, which I love.

I think I read the first one but I don't remember if I liked it. I keep meaning to go back and read the rest.

My favorite children's book would have to be The Yellow Cat Of Cottonwood Creek.
