In the past two weeks we've lost two wonderful innovators in the entertainment world. Stan Winston (the best creature effects guru since Ray Harryhausen), and now George Carlin, perhaps the best stand-up comic of any generation (one could argue Richard Pryor, but that's beside the point). Both will be sorely missed, but of course there's the ( Read more... )

If there's any justice in the universe, it will be my mom. ^_^

Your mom can be entertaining sometimes, but I don't think she counts as an innovator in the entertainment world. ;-)

a major female dancer was lost this week (from movies like Singing in the Rain, etc), so I'm thinking we're done.

Some would argue that it started with Tim Russert. I know I'll miss his knowledge and passion for politics. So, hopefully we are done. I hope all is going well for you bro.

Whoa! Where'd you come from? I thought you got stuck in the witness protection program or something. :) We really need to hang out sometime. My fiancee still asks me when you intend to vibrate her next. Ever get around to reading the books I lent you? I know I gave you Nicole Blackman, which is awesome, but I can't recall if you borrowed anything else. Anyhoo, I'll be thinking of you at the Warped Tour next Tuesday. :)

Nah...No witness protection for me, just long hours on trains and in hotels. I usually spend a minimum of 12 hours going north, 14-24 hours in the hotel, and a minimum of 12 hours going south. And after being gone for 2 days, how long am I at home? 10 to 12 hours!!! It makes me wanna kill sometimes. I long to witness a murder or testify against a drug lord. Witness protection here I come.

Anyway, I would love to hang out sometime. I just have to get permission from my massa', and when I do then I would be more than happy to vibrate your fiancee. ;)

Yes. I enjoyed Nicole Blackman. I remember that I was going to borrow A Confederacy of Dunces, but forgot it at your apartment. Other than that I can't remember borrowing any other books.

Have fun at the Warped Tour tomorrow...JACKASS! :) Isn't Reel Big Fish going to be there? Have fun.
